TLILIC2001A - Licence to operate a forklift truck
Duration
2 Day Course
Full training day follow by assessment day (minimum of 5 days between for log book
hours)
Maximum of 6 students per course.
Outline
This course provides the skills and competencies required to operate a Forklift in accordance
with WorkSafe requirements.
Areas of Study
At the completion of the course, participants will be able to operate Forklift Trucks to
the WorkSafe Assessment Standards. Participants will also be able to identify the safety
requirements for all Forklift Trucks and their working environments, as well as being
able to apply a working knowledge of the OH&S and regulatory requirements in accordance
with WorkSafe standards.

Written and practical forms of assessment
Upon successful completion of this course, participants are required to lodge their notice
of assessment with Australia Post. Upon successful lodgement with Australia Post, a
WorkSafe “Licence to perform high risk work” will be posted out to the applicant

Must possess reasonable reading and writing skills sufficient to read and understand
permits and instructions
TLILIC2005A -Licence to operate a boom-type elevating work platform (boom length 11 metres or more)

Areas of Study
Vehicle Loading Crane specifies the outcomes required to operate a vehicle loading crane with a capacity of 10 metre tonnes or more, mounted on a vehicle for the principle purpose of loading and unloading such a vehicle, including the application of load estimation and slinging techniques to move a load, for licensing purposes.
